How It Started?

Forbytes’ story started in 2011, the year worldwide eCommerce sales jumped 19% and signaled a new way of doing business. Our founders, Orest and Taras, saw an opening. They built Forbytes to help Swedish eCommerce companies navigate digitalization and claim their share of a fast-growing online market. Their approach was simple: hire the best people available and compromise on neither cost nor value.

From Immediate Action to Ongoing Support

From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Forbytes has been actively supporting Ukraine’s defenders and local communities.

In coordination with the IT Cluster, we transferred UAH 250,000 to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Lviv 80th Airmobile Brigade. We also contributed another UAH 200,000 toward bulletproof vests, helmets, walkie-talkies, and night-vision devices that were delivered to the Kyiv Territorial Defense.

Beyond military support, Forbytes helped Maternity Hospital No. 1 in Lviv improve shelter conditions for expectant mothers and newborns during the difficult first months of the war. We also encouraged our colleagues, partners, and friends in Sweden and other countries to provide financial assistance to Ukraine.

Our support did not stop with these initial efforts. We continue to contribute to fundraising initiatives and regularly support events and campaigns organized by the IT Cluster, helping raise significant funds for Ukraine’s defenders and humanitarian needs.
